About NSTA - National Spasmodic Torticollis Association

NSTA and BeyondRehab Cervical Dystonia Care Program

20 Feb

NSTA’s research goal is to fund seed grants to researchers with projects focusing on movement disorders that add to the understanding and treatment of cervical dystonia (CD); enabling projects to establish a basic principle or insight that can be used to apply for and win larger CD research grants from the public and private sources. The NSTA is funding a research physical therapy program by Apurva Zawar, DPT, PMP, Founder and owner of BeyondRehab.

We are looking for CD patients diagnosed within the last three years who are willing to participate in the program and do an interview after the program for our publications. The eight people chosen will be participating in the Cervical Dystonia Care Program developed by Dr. Zawar. Participation will be done online through video.
